And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Mark 4:37-38 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, a great storm has burst upon us and we are afraid; come help us.

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us receive Jesus’ “Peace, be still!”

But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" Mark 4:40 (NKJV)
Father, please help us recognize our fears for what they are and know that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love and a sound mind.

And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!" Mark 4:41 (NKJV)
Jesus, even this virus is under your authority.

Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 1 Corinthians 7:3 (NKJV)
Lord, thank you for the affection I received from Jean.

Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! Psalm 105:1 (NKJV)
I thank you, LORD, that we are in your hand and in your care. Help us by your Holy Spirit to make your deeds known among all peoples. Thank you.

A Word Received: Rest from your fears and cares. Come apart with me and find rest for your souls.
