13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" Matthew 3:13-14 (NKJV)
Lord, you take the “foolish” things of the world to shame the wise.

15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him. Matthew 3:15 (NKJV)
Jesus, if we are going to fulfill all righteousness, we are going to have to do it on your terms and not on our own.

16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. Matthew 3:16 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, descend on us as well.

17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17 (NKJV)
Father, help us know we are your beloved children.

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, Colossians 1:18-19 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help the leaders of the Episcopal Church acknowledge by word and deed that Jesus is the head of the body.

22 Also let the priests who come near the LORD consecrate themselves, lest the LORD break out against them." Exodus 19:22 (NKJV)
LORD, let our priests and ministers consecrate themselves to you.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Psalm 19:1 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us tell of your marvelous works among us.

2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:2 (NKJV)
Father, help us to be glad and rejoice in you.

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Psalm 19:9-10 (NKJV)
LORD, you are our refuge in this time of trouble and we put our trust in you.

A Word Received: Pray for my people to know me and honor me by their words and deeds and faith.
