13 And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. Exodus 14:13 (NKJV)
Father, help me stand still long enough to see your saving work. Help me see you vanquish the enemies of the gospel that are attacking us. Thank you.

1 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Depart and go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'To your descendants I will give it.' 2 And I will send My Angel before you, and I will drive out the Canaanite and the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. Exodus 33:1-2 (NKJV)
Jesus, I trust you to cleanse your church of every foreign gospel and teaching.

3 Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people." Exodus 33:3 (NKJV)
Father, we are a stiff-necked people. Help us repent and enter into your provision for us.

5 Why should I fear in the days of evil, When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me? 6 Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches, 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him-- 8 For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever-- 9 That he should continue to live eternally, And not see the Pit. Psalm 49:5-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for paying the cost of our redemption.

1 For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain. 2 But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. 1 Thessalonians 2:1-2 (NKJV)
Jesus, please send us fearless witnesses who are faithful to the gospel. Protect Bishop Bill and this diocese.

17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. Matthew 5:17 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, fulfill your word in our day.

18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:18 (NKJV)
     Jesus, your word is eternal.

19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19 (NKJV)
Father, there are so many false teachers among your people.

20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, bring us your cleansing fire and righteousness.

A Word Received: Do not fear those who can kill the body; but fear those who can destroy your soul.
