2020 05 09

In honor of the weather outside this morning I played Christmas carols.

43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:43-45 (NKJV)
Father, I want to be your child. Help me forgive those who have hurt me.

7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me answer your call.

34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40:34 (NKJV)
LORD, let your glory come upon your church and your people.

3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. Psalm 138:3 (NKJV)
     Thank you.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. Psalm 138:7 (NKJV)
Jesus, you will give me victory over my last enemy, death.

8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, continue your work of perfecting me.

A Word Received: Place your confidence in me and not in kings.
