2020 05 26

18 And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Matthew 8:18 (NKJV)
Jesus, have compassion the the multitudes today, for they are sheep without a shepherd.

24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!" 26 But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?" Matthew 8:24-27 (NKJV)
Jesus, help me put my faith in you rather than in the tempest.

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, Ephesians 3:14-16 (NKJV)
Father, please strengthen us in the inner man by the power of your Holy Spirit.

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us comprehend the fullness of Jesus Christ's grace and mercy.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus Christ, don't let this generation pass away until it knows the fullness of God.

1 Now the LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons." 1 Samuel 16:1 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us cease mourning that which has died in your church. Bring the faithful remnant to new life in you.

12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah. 1 Samuel 16:12-13 (NKJV)
LORD, let those you have chosen be anointed for your service.

1 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. 3 For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. Psalm 95:1-3 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us sing God's praises for we are the sheep of his hand.

A Word Received: Come to me; let me sanctify you and make you a holy people.
