“Lord, renew in our day the wonders of your Pentecost” (John XXIII).

1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Lord, we pray all prisoners of conscience and that we will walk worthy of our calling.

2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Jesus, help us bear the trials of life with long-suffering.

3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us find our unity in your peace.

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Father, thank you for your call to follow Christ.

5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
As Bishop Bill faces the trial for his faith in you, help us support him in prayer as one in faith in you'

6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Father, help us submit oourselves to your authority as Jesus did.

7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift. Ephesians 4: (NKJV)
Jesus, help us live in the grace you offer us.

6 And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. Isaiah 25:(NKJV)
Jesus, help us return to your banquent table.

7 And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. Isaiah 25:(NKJV)
Holy Spirit, remove the veil that blinds us.

8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 25:(NKJV)
Father, thank you that death is swallowed up in Jesus' victory over death and the grave.

9 And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." Isaiah 25:(NKJV)
Jesus, I trust that you will come and save us in your good time.

A Word Received: Wait for me in hope.
