2020 06 03

20 Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, 21 nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:20-21 (NIV)
Holy Spirit, help us experience the kingdom of God within our hearts and minds

26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. Luke 17:26-27 (NIV)
Jesus,as it was then and so it is in our day. Peole cling to the familiar and miss out on the kingdom life.

28 "It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 "It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17:28-30 (NIV)
Father, help us seek out your will rather than try to return to what was before.

32 Remember Lot's wife! Luke 17:32 (NIV)
Jesus, help us not be like Lot's wife: looking back to what was before to our destruction.

1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 (NIV)
Jesus, help us live out your promises.

6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, 7 and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever. 2 Corinthians 7:6-7 (NIV)
Father, thank you for the consolations you bring us by our companionship in your Holy Spirit.

4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. Deuteronomy 13:4 (NIV)
Jesus, help me walk after your ways. Help me follow you wherevver you lead me.

5 Why should I fear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me-- 6 those who trust in their wealth and boast of their great riches? 7 No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him-- 8 the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough-- 9 that he should live on forever and not see decay. Psalm 49:5-9 (NIV)
Jesus, you alone are able to pay the price of our redemption. Thank you.

Torre,
Just wanted you to know the Dallas intercessors have been and are praying for Bishop Love and Diocese of Albany. Some of us have been unseen intercessors with you all since the Lent and Beyond days. We prayed with you through Primate’s Meetings and several General Conventions. What a journey! There is always a faithful remnant. May God strengthen you all as intercessors as you put on the full armor of Jesus. We are called for such a time as this. Thank you for keeping me on your list. Please tell Bishop Love the Dallas intercessors are praying for him. May the Blood of Christ strengthen you in all goodness.
     Courage in Jesus,
     Under the Mercy,
     Charlotte Rundell

Albany Intercessor
