1 Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. Luke 19:1-4 (NKJV)
Jesus, bless all those earnestly seek you.

5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house." 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. Luke 19:5-6 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for bidding us come to you. Thank you for coming into our homes.

7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner." Luke 19:7 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help each of us recognize that we too are sinners in need of Jesus.

8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold." 9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; Luke 19:8-9 (NKJV)
Zacchaeus' faith and deeds brought him into the kingdom. Jesus, let such saving work take place in our lives as well.

10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd. Thank you for seeking us out when we had wandered off and were lost.

Note from Torre: There is a wonderful Turkish film with English subtitles on Netflix called "MIRACLE IN CELL NO 7"

11 "For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. Deuteronomy 30:11-14 (NKJV)
Father, help us recognize the nearness of your word to us.

15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. Deuteronomy 30:15-16 (NKJV)
Father, help us make the choice for you and your kingdom.

1 Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. 2 As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly. Psalm 68:1-3 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, cast down every argument of those who subvert the gospel by bringing charges against Bishop Bill. Let your righteous people rejoice in your saving work.

A Word Received: Let my word sink into your hearts. Put your trust in me no matter what men may decide;. I AM Lord and I will see you through.
