1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. Luke 24:1 (NKJV)
Thank you for the ministry of these women to you, Jesus. Help us to have the same passion to minister to you.

2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. Luke 24:2-3 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, help us all search and find you.

4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! . Luke 24:4-6a (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for conquering death for all of us.

6b Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.' " 8 And they remembered His words. Luke 24:6b-8 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us remember Jesus' words.

Father, help us bear witness to what we have seen you do.

10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles. 11 And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them. Luke 24:10-11 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, set our leaders free from rationalism and doubt.

32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda. 33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed. 34 And Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed." Then he arose immediately. Acts 9:32-34 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us speak your words of renewal and healing.

39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them. 40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. Acts 9:39-40 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us keep on praying no matter how difficult the circumstances.

24 Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. 1 Samuel 15:24 (NKJV)
LORD, preserve us from being led by whatever the popular voice demand.

25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the LORD." 26 But Samuel said to Saul, "I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel." 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, "The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent." 1 Samuel 15:25-29 (NKJV)
LORD, help us obey when you speak.

30 Then he said, "I have sinned; yet honor me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may worship the LORD your God." 1 Samuel 15:30 (NKJV)
Thank you, Jesus, that with your help we can swim against the current of popular culture and political correctness.

1 Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble? 2 The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised. Psalm 10:1-2 (NKJV)
Father, stop the wicked in their schemes.

A Word Received: Listen, listen for my word to you. Heed it and you will not go astray.
