2020 07 25

1 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! 3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?" And they were offended at Him. Mark 6:1-3 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help me recognize and reject every false idea we have about Jesus.

4 But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house." Mark 6:4 (NKJV)
Father, help me honor and respect Jesus in our time and place.

5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching. Mark 6:5-6 (NKJV)
Jesus, our fack of faith and our preconceptions are standing in your way. Help us repent so that you can do your work among us.

7 And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. Mark 6:7 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, call us and send us forth two by twwo to sharee the good news of the kingdom.

8 He commanded them to take nothing for the journey except a staff--no bag, no bread, no copper in their money belts-- 9 but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics. Mark 6:8-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, your provision will be sufficient for all our needs as we go foth at your bidding.

1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. 3 You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. Psalm 139:1-4 (NKJV)
LORD, you know me and you know my sins and failures. Help me to put my whole trust in your mercy.

5 You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:5-6 (NKJV)
Jesus, your knowledge of me is complete, yet you still love me; thank you.

A Word Received: Wait on me. You will see my victory.

Albany Intercessor.
