46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Mark 10:46-47 (NKJV)
Lord, help your church cry out to you in its blindness.

48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Mark 10:48 (NKJV)
There are many, Lord, who try to silence those who cry out to you. Hear the cries of your people.

49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you." Mark 10:49 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us hear Jesus calling us to come to him.

50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. Mark 10:50 (NKJV)
Father, help me throw off everything that gets in the way of coming to Jesuss.

51 So Jesus answered and said to him, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The blind man said to Him, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." Mark 10:51 (NKJV)
Rabboni, let the church receive its sight. Help us to see as you do.

52 Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:52 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us go on our way seeing and following Jesus.

7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Psalm 24:7 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us lift the gates so that Jesus, the King of Glory, may come into all the gated parts of our lives.

8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Psalm 24:8 (NKJV)
Jesus, you are the King of Glory, strong and mighty.

9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Psalm 24:9 (NKJV)
Jesus, I cannot lift up those gates in my own strength, I need your Holy Spirit's power to lift them.

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah Psalm 24:10 (NKJV)
Come in King of Glory and renew my life.

A Word Received: Open your heart to me; let me cleanse it. I Am able to do this which you cannot.
