'There is a balm in Gilead'.

15 Thus says the LORD: "A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted for her children, Because they are no more." Jeremiah 31:15 (NKJV)
LORD, we weep for your church and your people, for the enemy will try to crush us.

SCHINDLER'S LIST I´ve never heard a violin cry like that before

16 Thus says the LORD: "Refrain your voice from weeping, And your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD, And they shall come back from the land of the enemy. 17 There is hope in your future, says the LORD, That your children shall come back to their own border. Jeremiah 31:16-17 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us in this diocese to be children of hope.

We Praise You and Acknowledge You (LSB 941)

3 Judah has gone into captivity, Under affliction and hard servitude; She dwells among the nations, She finds no rest; All her persecutors overtake her in dire straits. Lamentations 1:3 (NKJV)
Father, help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus in this storm.

In the Shattered Bliss of Eden - LSB 572 (Here I Stand Conference-IN 2017)

"and on the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures." (from the Nicene Creed)
Jesus, I live in the hope of resurrection of your church and your people.

A Word Received: Weep for my children, for savage wolves are loose among the flock.
