Faith of Our Fathers

27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" Matthew 9:27 (NKJV)
Jesus, Son of David, help those blinded by the world's treasures and ways to see again.

28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Matthew 9:28 (NKJV)
Yes, Jesus, I do believe you are able to restore our sight.

29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." Matthew 9:29 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, give us your gift of faith.

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (NKJV)
Jesus, please restore the unity of your body, the Church.

3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. 4 Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies. Psalm 141:3-4 (NKJV)
LORD, guard our lips in this time of political unrest.

8 But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute. 9 Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, And from the traps of the workers of iniquity. 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I escape safely. Psalm 141:8-10 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us keep our eyes on you no matter what happens.
