"whose kingdom shall have no end" (from the Nicene Creed)
No matter what our folly is in the church, Father, your kingdom will never end.

35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew 9:35 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us minister in the power and guidance ofyour Holy Spirit.

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Matthew 9:36 (NKJV)
Jesus, please help us have your compassion on the lost and the least.

37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help your people hear the call to go out into the harvest fields.

1 And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1 (NKJV)
Lord, you have given power to your church to heal and deliver, help us use it.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us use and minister the gifts you have given to me.

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NKJV)
Father, in this time of division, please help us love one another.

33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. Psalm 104:33 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me sing your songs.

A Word Received: Look to me for help in the storm.
