2020 10 31

31 He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Matthew 13:31 (NIV)
Father, let your seed of faith grow and flourish in me.

33 He told them still another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough." Matthew 13:33 (NIV)
Jesus, let the leaven of your holy Spirit work itself throughout my life

15 Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. 16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:15-17 (NIV)
Father, wipe away every tear from our eyes.

7 But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the men of Ashdod heard that the repairs to Jerusalem's walls had gone ahead and that the gaps were being closed, they were very angry. 8 They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. Nehemiah 4:7-8 (NIV)
Holy Spirit, guide us through the attacks of those who would destroy us.

16 From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armor. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah 17 who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, 18 and each of the builders wore his sword at his side as he worked. But the man who sounded the trumpet stayed with me. Nehemiah 4:16-18 (NIV)
Jesus, please help us hold the weapons of faith and prayer.

3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted. Psalm 138:3 (NIV)
Holy Spirit, make us bold with strength in our souls.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. 8 The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever-- do not abandon the works of your hands. Psalm 138:7-8 (NIV)
LORD, I am in your hands and trust in your mercy.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139:11-12 (NIV)
Jesus, there is no darkness dark enough to hide us from your light.

A Word Receive: Trust in me no matter what the circumstances are.
