2020 11 16

whose kingdom shall have no end. (Nicene Creed)
Thank you, Jesus, for your endurance to the end on the cross. Thank you for establishing an eternal kingdom.

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?" Joshua 5:13 (NKJV)
LORD, we think the questions is, "Are you on our side or against us?"

14 So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?" Joshua 5:14 (NKJV)
Jesus, the question really is, "Are we on your side; are we following you?"

15 Then the Commander of the LORD'S army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy." And Joshua did so. Joshua 5:15 (NKJV)
Father, help us humble ourselves in your presence.

We are standing on holy ground

14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us humble ourselves and seek your face so that our land and its divisions may be healed.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NKJV)
Holy Father, bring us out of our captivity to ideology and set us on your pathway to live out your plans for us.

Lord Heal Our Land
