2020 11 22 Christ the King Sunday

I acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins; (Nicene Creed)
Jesus, thank you for washing away my sins. Thank you for baptizing me with your Holy Spirit. Please help me to live day by day in the hope of the resurrection. Thank you.

1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4 They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:1-5 (NKJV)
Jesus, I long for that day of eternal light in yourpresence.

6 Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. 7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." Revelation 22:6-7 (NKJV)
Jesus, you are faithful and true and you are coming. Thank you.

12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Revelation 22:12-13 (NKJV)
Jesus, Lord, you are my beginning and my end.

5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, bring your church to this place of unity.

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NKJV)
Father, make us to be a people of hope in you.

1 I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Psalm 145:1 (NKJV)
My God and my KIng, I bless your name.

A Word Received: Rest in my presence. Look to me with hope for what I will do among you.
