very God of very God, (Nicene Creed)
Jesus, you and the Father are one; please help us come to know you and him better.

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. Isaiah 43:2a (NKJV)
Father, there are swift currents that will overwhelm us unless we keep our eyes on you.

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2b (NKJV)
Jesus, we are going through fiery trials. We need the fire of your Holy Spirit.

3 For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; Isaiah 43:3a (NKJV)
You are our Lord and Savior Jesus, and we look to you to steady us in this time of trial.

I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4 Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Isaiah 43:3b-4 (NKJV)
LORD, you have paid our ransom; thank you.

5 Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west; 6 I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' And to the south, 'Do not keep them back!' Isaiah 43:5-6a (NKJV)
I will not fear, for you are with me.

Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth-- Isaiah 43:6b (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, bring our youth back to Jesus.

5 Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed. Ezekiel 47:5 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help me take my feet off the bottom and go wherever you would carry me.

A Word Received: Let me lift you up on the wings of my Spirit. I will carry you as a nursing mother carries her child.

DEACON ALAN and DEACON MARYCAROL -- (St. Ann's of Amsterdam's weekly Monday morning Prayer Table report) -- Sometimes we're just hit with bad weather, and today (Nov. 30) was one of those days. We got the folding table out on the front sidewalk around 9:45 a.m. hoping to beat the widely expected rain so we could pass out many boxes (for families) and bags (for individuals) of non-perishable food items. But almost immediately, the rain started coming down. At first it was light and we figured we could pass out a lot of food to people walking and driving by, but by 10 a.m. it was coming down very heavy and we had to pack up and take everything back inside. We did have three women (CAROL, NANCY and REBECCA) stop by, and they all took food and Carol also came inside and got some winter clothing. We'll keep trying to get all this food handed out before Christmas and New Year's. If not, we'll carry it over into 2021.
A special "Thank you" goes out to a friend of ours -- Theresa Rinaldo from Christ Church in Schenectady where both Alan and Father Neal have served. Theresa and some other women from her church crocheted and knitted winter clothing items -- scarves, hats, gloves -- and gave them to us to distribute at our table. That was a wonderful gesture from those women!
Please pray for these three women who had varied prayer concerns. The Lord knows the details.
     God bless you all!
