Stuart Townend - Creation Sings

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. Matthew 1:18-19 (NKJV)
Father, as you lead us through the pain of new birth, help us to be like Mary, bearing the pain for you, and Joseph, try to be a good husband and steward.

20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:20 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us respond to what you have conceived among us.

21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 (NKJV)
Jesus, we long to see more of your saving work among us.

26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26 (NKJV)
Father, thank you that by faith in Jesus we have been made your sons.

1 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; 2 It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, The excellency of our God. Isaiah 35:1-2 (NKJV)
Jesus, make the desert of the Episcopal Church bloom again.

3 Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. Isaiah 35:3 (NKJV)
Lord, you know our weakness, fill us with the strength of your HOly Spirit.

4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you." Isaiah 35:4 (NKJV)
     Lord, come and save us.

1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Psalm 46:1-2 (NKJV)
Father, because you are our refuge and strength, I need not fear no matter what is carried away. Thank you.

A Word Received: Let my birth be a sign to you of my Father's love for you.
