2020 12 27

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:18-21 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, set us free as you did with Joseph to accept what you are doing among us.

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." Matthew 1:22-23 (NKJV)
Jesus, please be with us in the days ahead.

24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS. Matthew 1:24-25 (NKJV)
Father, help us, like Joseph, to obey your word.

13 And again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here am I and the children whom God has given Me." Hebrews 2:13 (NKJV)
Thank you, LORD, for the children you have given us.

11 Indeed the LORD has proclaimed To the end of the world: "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.' " 12 And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken. Isaiah 62:11-12 (NKJV)
Lord, restore your church to purity of worship and hope in you.

7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged." 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." Isaiah 6:7-8 (NKJV)
Father, touch my mouth and send me forth with your word.

5 Your testimonies are very sure; Holiness adorns Your house, O LORD, forever. Psalm 93:5 (NKJV)
LORD, help us keep your testimonies.

7 Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Give to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts. 9 Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Psalm 96:7-9 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us give, as you did, not fearing the cost.
