2021 01 21

26 And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come." Mark 4:26-29 (NKJV)
Lord Jesus, plant your Spirit in our hearts and let it bring forth an abundant harvest.

15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15-17 (NKJV)
Give us wisdom, Lord, so that we will know how to walk in this time. Help us undersand and do your will.

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God. Ephesians 5:18-21 (NKJV)
Father, let the river of your Spirit flow through us so that we overflow with thanksgiving.

8 "Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the LORD, have created it. Isaiah 45:8 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, pour down on us.

1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Psalm 37:1-2 (NKJV)
     Jesus, preserve us from fretting.

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4 (NKJV)
LORD, help us daily find our delight in you.

5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:5-6 (NKJV)
Thank you, Jesus, that you can do what we cannot.
