The King of Love My Shepherd Is

11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10:11 (NKJV)
You are the Good Shepherd, Jesus, and we trust you to guide us through this time.

1 Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, "Indeed we are your bone and your flesh. 2 Also, in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them in; and the LORD said to you, 'You shall shepherd My people Israel, and be ruler over Israel.' " 2 Samuel 5:1-2 (NKJV)
Son of David, choose a faithful shepherd to be over us in the Diocese of Albany.

10 Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him. 11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young. Isaiah 40:10-11 (NKJV)
Lord GOD, gather us in your arms and carry us in your bosom through this time.

31 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' 32 But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee." Matthew 26:31-32 (NKJV)
Jesus, you were willing to be struck down for us; please now go ahead of us to guide and direct our steps.

1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. 1 Peter 5:1-4 (NKJV)
FAther, raise up such a shepherd over this Diocese of Albany.

14 And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:14-17 (NKJV)
Lord, we are going through a time of tribulation in this diocese; shepherd us through ever test. Thank you.
