Come, Now is the Time to Worship

19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you." John 20:19 (NKJV)
Lord, your people live in fear of so many things. Help us all have your "Peace be with you."

Will your anchor hold in the storms of life

20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." John 20:20-21 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us go forth at the Father's bidding.

22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:22 (NKJV)
Breathe on us Breath of God so that we may receive your Holy Spirit.

23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained." John 20:23 (NKJV)
Help me forgive those who have wounded me.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3 (NKJV)
Father thank you for your living hope.

4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:4-5 (NKJV)
Father, thank you for what I have to look forward to.

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you that our present griefs will become our future joys.

25 For David says concerning Him: 'I foresaw the LORD always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. 26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. 27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.' Acts 2:25-28 (NKJV)
Jesus, I looo forward to the joy you have set before me.

Open the Eyes of My Heart

A Word Received: Let my joy overflow in your heart. There is nothing you cannot face if I Am with you.
