2021 04 13

14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. John 17:14 (NKJV)
Jesus, this diocese has been hated because it received your word and believed it.

15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. John 17:15 (NKJV)
Father, keep us from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17:16-17 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, sanctify us with your word of truth.

18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. John 17:18-19 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us go out into the world with the good news of the gospel: that you have conquered sin, death and the grave.

8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. 9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1 John 2:8-11 (NKJV)
Lord, as the diocese splits and fractures, help us continue to love one another.

7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple. 8 Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face. Psalm 5:7-8 (NKJV)
Father, make your way straight before us.
