Westminster Abbey - Oh God Our Help in Ages Past

BE THOU MY VISION -- My Favorite Irish Hymn! :)

1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Luke 18:1-2 (NKJV)
Lord, we have such judges in our day. Have mercy on us.

3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' Luke 18:3 (NKJV)
Father, we have many widows and poor people who cry out for help and justice.

4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.' " Luke 18:4-5 (NKJV)
Jesus, let the cry of the widows and those in need come before you.

6 Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:6-8 (NKJV)
Father, we pray that you will find true faith among us when you send your son to judge the world.

1 Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia: 2 that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. 2 Corinthians 8:1-2 (NKJV)
Lord, there are Macedonian churches among us today who suffer affliction for their faith.

3 For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. 2 Corinthians 8:3-4 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us abound in generosity of spirit and purse.

Jesus, all for jesus.wmv

A Word Received: My people, pray for renewal of your churches by my Holy Spirit so that I may see the fruit of holiness among you.
