"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. John 10:1-2 (NKJV)
Jesus, you are the only saving way into the sheepfold. There is no shortcut that works.

To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. John 10:3 (NKJV)
Help us Jesus to hear your voice in this diocese.

And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. John 10:4 (NKJV)
Lord, please go before us; lead the way in the months ahead.

Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." John 10:5 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, don’t let us be deluded into following strangers.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. John 10:14 (NKJV)
Father, thank you for sending Jesus to shepherd us.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us love Jesus rather than the world.

It is in my power to do you harm, but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, 'Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.' Genesis 31:29 (NKJV)
Holy Trinity, One God, help us heed your admonitions to restrain our anger or desire for revenge.

It is time for You to act, O LORD, for they have regarded Your law as void. Psalm 119:126 (NKJV)
LORD, it is time for you to act; hear our cry to you.

The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130 (NKJV)
Jesus, your word is my light for the path ahead.

Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133 (NKJV)

A Word Received: Leave your burdens with me; leave them in my care.
