33 And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34 Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch." 35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will." Mark 14:33-36 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for facing the cross for us and for your love of your Father.

37 Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? 38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Mark 14:37-38 (NKJV)
Lord, your church is asleep; send your Holy Spiriit to wake us up.

1 Now when they had escaped, they then found out that the island was called Malta. 2 And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold. Acts 28:1-2 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, hellp us give aid and comfort to those washed up on our shhores.

15 And from there, when the brethren heard about us, they came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and Three Inns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage. Acts 28:15 (NKJV)
Thank you for those who encouraged Paul; thank you for those who encourage us.

1 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning? 2 O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent. Psalm 22:1-2 (NKJV)
Holy Father, there seem times when the very gates of heaven seem shut to our prayers. Father, hear us.

3 But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel. 4 Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. 5 They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed. Psalm 22:3-5 (NKJV)
Father, help us turn to you with praise and thanksgiving.

19 But You, O LORD, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! 20 Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog. 21 Save Me from the lion's mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me. Psalm 22:19-21 (NKJV)
Save me, Lord Jesus. Thank you for answering me.

A Word Received: Keep crying out to me; I Am listening.
