How Deep the Fathers Love for Us - Stuart Townend

30 Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. 31 For He taught His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day." Mark 9:30-31 (NKJV)
Jesus, thank you for knowing you were going to be betrayed and still going ahead for our sake.

35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." Mark 9:35 (NKJV)
Father, as the diocese goes through the transition that is coming, please help your people not push themselves forward to places of power.

36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me." Mark 9:36-37 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, please help us receive God's little ones - the lost and the least.

38 Now John answered Him, saying, "Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us." 39 But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 "For he who is not against us is on our side. Mark 9:38-40 (NKJV)
Jesus, as some choose the Anglican path and some chosse to remain Episcopalian, help us honor and accept one another as brothers and friends of yours.

14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. Galatians 6:14-15 (NKJV)
Holy Spirit, help us to be a part of this new creation.

6 "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Isaiah 58:6-7 (NKJV)
Jesus, help us reach out to help those in need so that we may truly honor you.

11 The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11 (NKJV)
Father, help me to be a watered garden where your seed may flourish.

12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. Isaiah 58:12 (NKJV)
LORD, help us restore the communities where we live.

3 Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved! Psalm 80:3 (NKJV)
     Restore us, O God!
