Matthew 13:31-32 (NKJV)
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches."
Holy Spirit, let faith in Jesus grow in me and let my life become a place where others may find shelter.
Matthew 13:33 (NKJV)
Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."
Jesus, let the leaven of the gospel work its way through my whole life.
Revelation 7:11-12 (NKJV)
All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen."
Father, I want to join in that great throng giving you thanksgiving and honor and power and might.
Revelation 7:13-17 (NKJV)
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
Holy God, thank you for all those who have gone through the great tribulation and have washed their robes white in the blood of the lamb.
Nehemiah 4:16-18 (NKJV)
So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.
Lord, clothe us with your full armor as we carry on the work of the gospel and rebuild your church.
Father, please put on all of us the shoes of the preparation to share the gospel of peace; gird our loins with your truth; put on us the breastplate of righteousness, and the helmet of salvation. Place on our arm the shield of faith with which to quench every fiery dart of the evil one; and place in our hand the sword of your Spirit which is your word; that having stood all, we might yet stand. Finally, help us to be strong in Jesus and in the power of his might, and cast off from us the chains of apathy that keep us from speaking boldly as we ought to speak. Thank you. (See Ephesians 6:10-20)
Psalm 55:16-18 (NKJV)
As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me.
Jesus, thank you for redeeming my life and giving me a heart to cry out to you throughout the day.
Word: Look to me for hope that does not disappoint. Look to me in the day of joy. Look to me in the day of trouble. Look to me -- I AM able to handle any problem you bring to me.
Thank you, Lord; I come to you.

Revelation 7:2-3 (NKJV)
Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads."
Jesus, seal me daily with your Holy Spirit so that I do not come to harm.
Nehemiah 2:4 (NKJV)
Then the king said to me, "What do you request?" So I prayed to the God of heaven.
Holy Spirit, help me shoot up those "arrow prayers" in time of need as Nehemiah did.
Nehemiah 2:12 (NKJV)
Then I arose in the night, I and a few men with me; I told no one what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem; nor was there any animal with me, except the one on which I rode.
Father, help me to do those things you have put on my heart.
Psalm 40:1-3 (NKJV)
I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth-- praise to our god; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD.
Holy Spirit, help me to wait patiently for the Father's work in my life. Father, hear my cry and bring me out of the miry clay. Put a new song in my mouth -- praise to you for what you have done for me through your son Jesus. Let my life be a testimony that helps others trust in you.
Psalm 40:8 (NKJV)
I delight to do your will, O my God, and your law is within my heart."
Father, write your law on my heart so that I delight to do your will.
Word: Pray for listening hearts among my people.

Matthew 13:20-21 (NKJV)
But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
Jesus, there are stony places in my heart and life, please break them up so that your word may take root there and endure.
Matthew 13:22 (NKJV)
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
Holy Spirit, fill me anew with your joy so that the cares of the world do not make me unfruitful.
Matthew 13:23 (NKJV)
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."
Father, please give me understanding of your word so that I may produce a rich harvest for you.
Revelation 5:11-12 (NKJV)
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
Jesus, it is your worthiness that counts, not mine.
Revelation 5:13 (NKJV)
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
Father, I want to be a part of that final chorus that blesses and onors Jesus.
Revelation 6:9-11 (NKJV)
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
Lord Jesus, even now the number of martyrs is being added to; have mercy on them as you did with Stephen and give them a flimpse of your glory as they die.
Psalm 50:14 (NKJV)
Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High.
Father, please help me daily offer thanksgive to you and renew in me the vows I have made to you.
Psalm 50:15 (NKJV)
Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me."
LORD, I am troubled and call upon you -- thank you for hearing my cry.
Psalm 50:22-23 (NKJV)
"Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God."
Jesus, help me topraise you and see your salvation.
Word: Come into my presence and wait on me. I Am faithful amd I will do what you cannot.

Matthew 13:16-17 (NKJV)
"But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Thank you, Jesus, for the sight and hearing you have given to me. Help me speak what I hear and tell what I see.

Revelation 5:9-10 (NKJV)
And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our god; and we shall reign on the earth."
Holy Spirit, help us sing the songs of Zion.

Ezra 6:14 (NKJV)
So the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the command of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
Father, as you gave your command to Ezra and Frances to rebuild your church, so give command inour day to rebuild your church.

Psalm 119:59 (NKJV)
I thought about my ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.
Holy Spirit, help me turn my footsteps to your ways and testimonies.

Psalm 119:71 (NKJV)
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.
Jesus, thank you, for the afflictions I have experienced in life. Help me to learn from them.

Word: Walk in my ways. Pray that your feet will not stumble.

Matthew 13:3-9 (NKJV)
Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: "Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"
Holy Spirit, help me to recognize that the seeds I sow will fall on different kinds of soil -- some fruitful, some not. Prepare my heart to be good soil to receive your word.

Revelation 4:8b,11 (NKJV)
"Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!" "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created."
Father, help me to know and abide in your holiness.

Psalm 47:2-3 (NKJV)
For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. He will subdue the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.
LORD, build up your church and bind of the wounds of all those who have fled from it.

Psalm 48:14 (NKJV)
For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.
LORD, you are my God and my guide, even to death.

Word: Put your hope in me, not in circumstances.

Mark 10:48 (NKJV)
Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Jesus, I pray that more of us will cry out toyou in our need rather than being politely quiet.

Mark 10:50 (NKJV)
And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
Holy Spirit, help me cast off anything that impedes me coming to Jesus.

Hebrews 6:12 (NKJV)
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Father, help me awake and imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Isaiah 59:15b-16 (NKJV)
So truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor; therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it sustained Him.
Father, bring forth more intercessors in your good pleasure to that your righteousness and salvation may be sustained.

Psalm 13:5-6 (NKJV)
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
Jesus, I will trust in our mercy and rejoice in the salvation you accomplished for me on the cross. Thank you for dealing with me so bountifully.

Word: Jus as blind Baritmaus (Mark 10:45-52) cried out to me in his need, I want you to cry out to me in your need.
