Luke 2:25-32 New King James Version

25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
     Father, let your Holy Spirit rest on us as it rested on Simon.

26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
     Father, please give us a spirit of revelation.

27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,
     Father, help us come by your Spirit to Jesus.

28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said:
     Father, help us bless you for what you have done in Jesus.

29 “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word;
     Lord, now let us depart in peace.

30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation
     Father, help us see and recognize your saving works.

31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples,
     Father, you have prepared Jesus to the Savior of the world.

32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
     Jesus, let you light shine forth for your people.

A Word Received: Come into my light and find peace for your souls so that I may present you to my Father.
