Matthew 6:3-13 New King James Version

3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
     Holy Spirit, help us trust in Jesus' words to us.

7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
     Jesus, help me pray with simplicity.

9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
     Father, help us keep your name holy.

10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
     Father, help us desire your will rather than the will of man.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.
     LORD, we need your provision of word and food for this day.

12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
     Jesus, help us forgive so that we may receive your forgiveness for our sins.

13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
     Holy Spirit, help us recognize and reject the temptations of the world, the flesh and the devil. Help us trust in your power to reform us.
