Mark 7:1-3 New King James Version
1 Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. 2 Now when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. 3 For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders.
Lord, set us free from bondage to dead tradition.

Mark 7:6-7 New King James Version
6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
Jesus, your church is captive to the doctrines and commandments of men.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 New King James Version
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Father, we live in such a time, guide our preachers so that we are fed with the pure milk of the gospel.

Leviticus 20:7-8 New King James Version
7 Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. 8 And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
Holy Spirit, consecrate us to your service.

Psalm 97:1 New King James Version
1 The Lord reigns; Let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad!
Jesus, I thank God that you are in charge and not me.

Psalm 98:1 New King James Version
1 Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.
Jesus, win the victory in my life.

A Word Received: Come into my presence and honor me with both your lips and your lives.
