Psalm 46 New King James Version

1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
     Jesus, you are my refuge and strength.

2 Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
     Father, I will not fear because you have given my power and love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)

3 Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.
     Jesus, we are in time of great shaking, but I will not fear.

4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
     Holy Spirit, immerse me in the river of your Spirit.

5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
     God, you hold steady when others quaver; help me hold steady as well by your Spirit.

6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
     LORD, all around us the nation is raging; have mercy on us.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.
     Jesus, you are with us; that is sufficient.

Psalm 47:7 New King James Version
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
Sing praises with understanding.
     LORD, help me sing your praises with understanding.

A Word Received (2-26-20040; "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11:8) Obedience is a major component of faith. Faith is a trusting relationship with Me. (It is not a relationship of equals. It is a relationship where by faith you choose obedience.)

A Word Received: Look to me for help when all other help fails.
