1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:
     Father, please help us answer your call.

2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
     Jesus, let your mercy, peace and love be multiplied among us.

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
     Holy Spirit, raise up witnesses who will exhort and contend for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
     Jesus, please help us reject the false witnesses who have crept in among us.

5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
     Holy Spirit, remind us of what we once knew of our deliverance from bondage.

6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
     LORD, there is a day of judgment coming; have mercy onus.

7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
     Holy Spirit, help us recognize the results of sexual immorality and repent.

     Dad, you provided for us when we had no money. Like Elijaah being fed by the ravens (1 Kings 17:6) you have provided for my family day by day. Thank you.

7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
     Jesus, thank you for protecting us in the Nigerian Civil War.

8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
     Jesus, thank you for coming into my life through the Eucharist week by week.

11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
LORD, continue to teach us.
