Mark 13:14-20 New King James Version
14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
Jesus, please help us know when it is time to flee and leave everything behind.
17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter.
Jesus, we pray that you will provide for us in the day we flee.
19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
Jesus, this is a time of tribulation in your church; please help us and guide us.
Hebrews 10:31 New King James Version
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Father, help us and hold us up; keep us from falling.
Psalm 16:4 New King James Version
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;
Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer,
Nor take up their names on my lips.
Holy Spirit, call back those who have wandered off after other gods.
Psalm 16:7-8 New King James Version
7 I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Jesus, you are my rock and refuge.
A Word Received: Look to me for help in the storm.
