Mark 5:21-23 New King James Version
21 Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. 22 And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet 23 and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”
Thank you, Jesus, for those who come to the prayer table with the same urgency of Jairus. Lord, hear their cries and heal.
Psalm 124:1-5 New King James Version
1 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,”
Let Israel now say—
2 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,
When men rose up against us,
3 Then they would have swallowed us alive,
When their wrath was kindled against us;
4 Then the waters would have overwhelmed us,
The stream would have gone over our soul;
5 Then the swollen waters
Would have gone over our soul.”
Father, the revisionists would swallow us alive; please protect your people.
Psalm 124:6-8 New King James Version
6 Blessed be the Lord,
Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;
The snare is broken, and we have escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
Holy Spirit, you comfort us and guide us in these rough times. Thank you.
A Word Received: Look to me for comfort and guidance.
