18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Holy Spirit, help the church once again acknowledge your authority.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
Jesus, please he us be disciples making disciples.
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, help us bring many to baptism in water and your Spirit.
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
Jesus, restore your teaching in the life of the church.
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Jesus, thank you for being with us through all the trials and temptations we face.
