19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
Lord, so often we hide our faith behind locked doors for fear of what others will think of us. Please help us receive your peace and by the power of your Holy Spirit share our faith with others.
Psalm 24:7-8 New King James Version
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Holy Spirit, please help us lift up those gates that hide our faith in Jesus. Thank you.
