John 15:9-14 New King James Version

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
Father, please forgive me for the many times I have not kept your commandments. Thank you for loving me even in my failures.

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
Jesus, flood me with your joy.

12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Holy Spirit, help me to love even the unlovable.

13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Jesus, help me lay down my life for others as you did.

14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
Jesus, thank you for your friendship.

1 John 4:7-11 New King James Version
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Jesus, please help me love with your love.

1 John 4:12 New King James Version
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
Jesus, thank you that I get to see you week by week hidden under the veil of the consecrated bread and wine.

Psalm 111:10 New King James Version
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.
LORD, grant me the wisdom that comes from knowing you and your character.

A Word Received: Look to me for remission of sin and not to the world. I have overcome the world. Rest in my love.
