Luke 11:1-4 New King James Version
1 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” 2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say:
Lord, teach us to pray.
Our Father in heaven,
Father, thank you for being a Dad to us.
Hallowed be Your name.
Father, help us keep your name holy.
Your kingdom come.
Jesus, please help us enter your kingdom life.
Your will be done
Holy Spirit, help me surrender my will to you.
On earth as it is in heaven.
Jesus, establish your kingdom life in our midst.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
Jesus, I treasure every crumb, every word that falls from your table.
4 And forgive us our sins,
Jesus, help us acknowledge our sins before you.
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
Holy Spirit, help me cancel every debt owed to me.
And do not lead us into temptation,
Jesus, help us handle temptation as you did: by saying, "For it is written..."
But deliver us from the evil one.”
Father, be our bulwark and shield to keep us from the evil one.
A Word Received: Be an adopted child of mine; know me as your Father.
